Tomiko “Miko” is a Nigerian-American, multiplidicinary artist.

Primarily working as a model and dancer, Tomiko uses her life experiences to showcase colorful narratives of her people, ancestry, and personal story.Tomiko grew up dancing for fun and enjoyment as a young child, then as she got older, took on different dance cheer teams in middle school, as well as lyrical
and hip hop in high school all around California.

Her most common and favorite dance styles to dance and teach are Lyrical, West African, Afrobeats, House, and Vogue. She has danced in theater projects Nkisi Nkondi for Kiandanda Dance Theater under the direction of Byb Binene; Protection Shields performed by The Lower Bottom Players, under the direction of Aodele Nzinga, Global Street Dance Project created by Rashad Pridgin; choreographed for Classical trained musician Raaginder, and Hip-hop artist Tiara Knox and Indigo Clan the MA’AT MARCH
for Oakland youth, and co-hosted Rundown Radio on adp.fm , along with many other creative
projects.
