If your young one loves to dance, regardless of experience or skill, and yearns to be part of a team, Creations Dance Group is a great place to experience the joy of dancing with a group, the dicipline required to commit to your team, and exposure to dancing in front of audiences.

Program

If your child loves dance, this program is the perfect fit. Creations Dance Group offers line dancing, contemporary, and other styles in a supportive, family-oriented environment.

Practices are 2 hours long, 3 days a week. (schedule is subject to change)

Participation is mandatory for all practices and performances unless the participant is unwell.

To get the most out of your dancers’ education, a respectful attitude and regular attendance is expected at each class.

Credit will not be given for missed classes due to illness, weather, or personal commitments.

Dress Code All black fitness attire, unless otherwise instructed.

All practices are closed to spectators including parents. Class viewings for parents will be
scheduled weekly.

Fees/Tuition

Registration Fee: $100
Monthly Tuition: $140

Please note unpaid balances will result in termination of student participation.

Refunds: When a student sustains an injury that does not permit them to participate over an extended period of time a prorated credit or refund will be issued. In some cases a doctor’s note is required.

Scholarships & Sliding Scale

We believe finances should never block passion. Sliding scale fees and scholarships are available for youth (18 & under) and senior citizens.

Waivers Waivers Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver I understand that participation in Creations Berkeley programs may involve physical activity (including but not limited to dance, yoga, movement, and field trips) and media/technology activities. I acknowledge that injuries or accidents may occur despite staff taking all reasonable precautions. I hereby release and hold harmless Creations Berkeley Media & Performing Arts Inc., its staff, volunteers, partners, and facilities from any and all claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from my child’s participation, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct. I authorize staff to obtain emergency medical care for my child if necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any resulting medical expenses. Media Release I grant permission for Creations Berkeley Media & Performing Arts Inc. to record, photograph, film, or otherwise capture my child’s image, voice, or creative work during program activities. These materials may be used for educational, promotional, or fundraising purposes, including but not limited to: • Social media, websites, newsletters, flyers, and public access TV broadcasts. • Submissions to film festivals, showcases, or grant reports. I understand that my child will not receive financial compensation for such use, and that all materials remain the property of Creations Berkeley Media & Performing Arts Inc. Code of Conduct Acknowledgement I agree that my child will: • Treat peers, staff, and facilities with respect. • Follow program rules and safety directions. • Use equipment responsibly. I understand that disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the program. I also agree to ensure timely drop-off and pick-up.
